The Boys & Girls Club of Farmington employs dedicated and trained staff at all levels of the company.  Special attention is given to helping staff advance professionally within their respective areas.  On-going professional training is provided at all levels of the organization and employees are encouraged to take advantage of all development opportunities available.

Full Time Positions
 
VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) positions are available for 1 to 2 years starting in November.  Volunteers receive a monthly stipend from the government and receive an education award at the end of the year for use in paying for college or paying off student loans.  Two positions are available.  Please call Linda at 327-6396 for more information.  Additional information will be posted here when received.
 
Part Time Positions
 
Teen Coordinator
This position interacts with teens in all areas.  It is responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating activities, education, and programming for Club teens 13 - 18.  Plans activities and outings designed to appeal to and interest the Club's teen population.  Coordinates with other departments to incorporate teen activities in all areas.  Plans outreach activities to area teens to expand the reach of the program.  Must have the skills to connect with and establish positive relationships with teens and the capacity to communicate the goals and objectives of the Club.  Previous work with youth and specifically teens preferred.  Hours during school year M - F 1:00 - 7:00, occasionally until 9:00 for special activities.  Salary DOE.  Must clear background check and drug test.
 
Hilltop Unit Director
This position is about 30 - 35 hours each week and provides supervision and management of the auxilliary Unit located on Troy King Road.  Directs/manages overall daily program operations of the Hilltop Unit with the primary concern for programs and service delivery, supervision and training of staff, facilities management, community relations, and membership administration.  Hours during school year M - F 12:00 - 7:00.  Salary DOE.  Must clear background check and drug test.
 
Music Teacher

This position provides instruction in a variety of musical instruments.  Provides both private and group lessons.  provides exposure to various musical styles and venues to Club members.  Plans and manages various musical programs such as talent shows and student concerts.  Salary DOE.  Must clear background check and drug test.

 
Youth Development Professional
Works with members during after school program. 18 - 20 hours per week from 2:30 - 6:00.  Hours differ during summer program.  Salary DOE.  Must clear background check and drug test.
